I am a senior researcher and unit manager in the Computer Science department at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden in Kista, where I work on connected systems built from constrained devices — how they route, how little energy they can run on, and how much intelligence can be pushed to the edge of the network rather than the cloud.

Scalable and Interoperable Low-Power Internet of Things Networks 2023
Much of my work sits around Contiki-NG, an open-source operating system for resource-constrained networked devices, and its ecosystem of simulation and testing tools. It is used widely in research and teaching, and remains one of the more capable platforms for building and evaluating low-power IPv6 networks.
The recurring theme across that work is making protocols behave at scale: routing that still converges in dense deployments, memory footprints that fit real hardware, and results that hold up outside a simulator.

I co-founded Jfokus, one of the larger developer conferences in the Nordics, and I spend time on side projects that have nothing to do with networking — mostly audio software.
